Quantum Theatre presents a brand new production of Shakespeare's most enduringly popular play of love and intrigue, magic and celebration set on that most dangerous of nights when fairies are abroad and nothing is as it seems…..

With the quarrel raging between Oberon, King of the fairies and his Queen, Titania four young lovers become entangled in their magical affray and soon no mortals are safe in those bewitched and bewitching woods outside Athens….

In this lively new production Quantum Theatre draws upon its sixteen years experience of producing curriculum based dramas to present this fun, pacey and accessible version of Shakespeare's classic comedy.

We offer a self-contained 2 hour production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' using only the Shakespearean text which can be performed in any venue with a performing area of 20' x 20', indoors or out!

The production supports the 'Drama' sesction of the English curriculum and ties in with clasroom work on:
'Forms and style'
'English literary heritage'
'Language change over time'

We also offer a 'workshop and play' package which includes interactive workshops linked to the aims and objectives of the UK National Curriculum developed to support textual understanding and performance experience of the play and culminates in a full presentation of the play as above.
