Infants (4-7 yrs) we demonstrate how materials can be described by their properties and how water can be a solid, liquid or gas. We show how certain materials can be mixed together to make something quite different like a cake. (Running time 60 mins including Q & A)

Juniors (7-11 yrs) we build on this, and explain how some materials can be separated using dissolving and filtering. We introduce mixtures and compounds and discuss the different properties of materials. (Running time 70 mins including Q & A)

Max audience size: 250 children. Performance area needed 15' x 15 '. 40 mins needed before and after the show for get-ins and get-outs.
