About the Event

Please note the following information:

Opening time

The gate into Woodhall Estate will open 1 hour before the show, at 1.00pm.

Getting here

You are coming to the Walled Gardens at Woodhall Park, using postcode SG14 3NQ. The entrance is on the A602 and it is easy to miss, so look out for signs saying "Walled Gardens Event" on the park wall. If your satnav takes you into Heath Mount School that is the wrong way – ignore your satnav, keep going and look for signs on the park wall.

Parking

Free parking onsite will be provided on a grass field.

Tickets

Tickets will be checked at the entrance into the Walled Gardens. Please ensure you have them either printed or readily available on your phone. If you any of your party do not have tickets they should purchase them online, ideally prior to arrival (phone reception is patchy at the event venue). Anyone without a ticket will be asked to purchase one using their phone. There will be no card or cash payments on the gate.

Seating

Seating is not provided. Please remember to bring rugs or fold-away chairs to sit on in the gardens.

Food and drink

You are encouraged to bring a picnic! There will be a food van selling some treats.

Weather

The show will go on regardless of weather, unless it is considered dangerous to continue (e.g. lightening). So please check the forecast beforehand and dress accordingly.

Covid-19

Thanks to the theatre being an outdoor event, the risk of Covid-19 is low. However you should take any precautions that you feel necessary to protect your health, including bringing hand sanitiser and keeping a safe distance from others. There is plenty of space in the gardens for you to find a spot to sit that makes you feel comfortable.

Closing time

Visitors will be asked to leave the gardens at the end of show, by 4.30pm, due to another performance in the evening.

We look forward to welcoming you all to the Tale of Peter Rabbit!
