There are two car parks for Woodchester Park. One is called Buckholt and the other is called Tinkley Gate. The brown signs direct you to Buckholt rather than Tinkley Gate. If you have access to google maps then typing in "Tinkley Gate National Trust Car Park" will take you to the correct entrance.
If you follow Tinkley Lane between Nympsfield and Nailsworth, then look out for two long, colourful banners on the same side of the road that mark the entrance to Tinkley Gate Car Park. If you follow the lane from Nympsfield then the banners (and entrance) will be on your left. If you follow the lane from Nailsworth then they will be on your right.
The lane is long and potholey - do not be discouraged
